I'm sure he'll be OK and 100% after 2-3 weeks.

...and then something else breaks, sprains, or tears.

LeBron can carry the Heat during the regular season to the #2 seed in the East. They just need Wade to be on his game in the playoffs to win a championship. Spoelstra should be open-minded to dialing down Wade's minutes during the season to help preserve him.

This is placing a lot more value on Spoelstra as a coach than I would, although I'm probably beating up on the guy too much.

He does need to have the guts to tell Wade, "You aren't playing." I give Wade credit for getting out there, plantar fasciitis and all, but he won't be doing the Heat any favors if he's not available for the postseason.

    Spoelstra will do that.

If not Riley will make him do it. And Riley will tell Wade he's sitting too.

He could possibly be back in 2 - 3 weeks, but he won't be 100% in 2 - 3 weeks ... And even after completely healed physically and back on the court, mentally it will take him a while to get back to his normal self.
