    I don't think I've seen that announcement yet.... which is pretty standard after anybody of note is released.

    At this point, like I said before, you'd really be pushing it to get him back for the Titans game.

    That's awesome news... don't care about this week as much as I care about the first week of the playoffs.

    Looks like he'll definitely be able to devise a game plan for the playoffs... which is what this team sorely needs given this offense.

    I just hope he's as effective calling plays from the press box as he would be calling them from the sidelines.

    Hope we hav better luck thn Da Saints did wen their Head coach was up stairs.....

    Calling plays won't be an issue... its communicating in-game adjustments directly to the players that will be affected.

    That's what bothered Payton (or any coach who's used to being on the sidelines) the most... when they are so used to communicating one-on-one with several different players throughout the game.

    If your only job is to call the plays, you can stay up in the booth no problem.
