They took out manning and Garrard. Can't complain too much.

I heard he's supposed to be back by the Ten game, which is Jan 1st I believe.

    Not too bad.

Least it's not that serious (hopefully). Would be awful if he pulls a Jim Johnson.

    Pancakes:

Surgery in the morning. 2 surgeries --one on his kidney, other on his gallbladder. 7-10 days he could be back. He'll be back for Tennessee if everything goes according to plan.

Wade will be 65 but he has done a hell of a job. Money is no issue with him. He wants to be a HC again. Depends on how many openings there are and the owners. No assistants in the NFL doing as good as Wade.

Texans announced that their DC Wade Phillips has completed the surgery on his kidney and gallbladder. He is in stable condition.

Wade being out worries me a little, but not too much. I think they can handle things for a while. Good to hear his surgery went well.

I doubt it. It'd be a much bigger deal, and chemo/rad treatments would follow. It'd be alarming to have tumors in completely different places....and especially those two organs.

I'd bet that he had stents put in to help relieve issues with kidney and gallstones, or at least ultrasound therapy to break them up. It's not uncommon to experience both at the same time.
