I don't need to have somebody play the national anthem to remind me that 2 of my sons are in the military who both served in Afghanistan. I pay to watch a game and not to listen to the nba's or the owners agenda outside of basketball. There are times where playing the anthem is appropriate, but if you do it all the time, it kinda loses its luster.

How cool would it have been if Bum Phillips had Twitter. "You can put a heifer in bobbysocks, but that don't make it a teeny bopper."

Nationalism is a dying movement anyways. Why are we still indoctrinating our youth by making with swear allegiance every day? Once you swear something, shouldn't that not change on a daily basis? Pretty insecure America. Pretty insecure.

Yeah. Who's to know how many heinous things I've gone and done after hearing the national anthem at sporting events?

If Wade is talking about the fans cheering during the Anthem - He's wrong. It isn't at all disrespectful.

If Wade is talking about the Rockets players and what they've been doing the Anthem - He's wrong. It isn't disrespectful at all.

I never knew Bum's son was such a p***y. He's incredibly hyper-sensitive and seems to be looking for insults where there are none.

No one noticed this was what fired up the Atlanta Braves up during their 14 year division championship run
