you guys should here the sport radio talk up here in Dallas, they are loving this and even laughing at Wade for shedding tears and being wheeled off on a wheelchair...

Sounds like a bunch of pricks. Poor guy was in a LOT of pain. Other than responding to Dirk, Wade has always been a class act. There is no reason for Dallas fans to react that way.

Those are Boys fans, who would never stoop so low. I guess that city has a dual personality.

Gosh, I don't know who to root for now if it comes down to SA and Dallas. Last year I rooted for Dallas majorly, not sure now.

Hopefully the Rockets can take care of both.

Classless, another reason to upset them in the playoffs. (Though, I bet none of the players would react that way)

That is crap......D-Wade gets a lot of BS calls, but to wish him ill is just classless.

Let Dallas go through the same injury bug that Houston has gone through, or now Miami and see how they feel.

A HEX on the Mavs......WHO IS WITH ME !!

    CURSE THEM !!

Don't think we need to curse them. These ****s already jinxed their own team with their attitude. This kind of crap is just bad karma.

Would everyone please put away your 'classless' cards? Calling people 'classless' is pretty damn classless in and of itself.

So, I guess that makes me classless...

    Get well soon, Dwy.

    UPDATE (from 1 hour ago):

    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/basketball/nba/heat/2007-02-22-wade-injury_x.htm?POE=SPOISVA

Season-ending surgery an option for Wade

MIAMI — Dwyane Wade is considering season-ending surgery to repair his dislocated left shoulder, which would be the biggest loss yet for the Miami Heat during their rocky reign as NBA champions. ... Wade flew home early Thursday in a private plane and was examined at a hospital by team physician Dr. Harlan Selesnick, who conducted a battery of tests.

"Wade is presently weighing his treatment options provided to him by the Heat medical staff," the team said in a statement. "Wade still needs to discuss these options with his family and Heat president and head coach Pat Riley, and will then decide what course of action to take."

He seriously should. The team is no where near Title contention and it's better to get the surgery, rehab, get some rest (especially since he played ball in the summer for team USA) and come back better than ever. I never want to see a player of such high potential to ever be taken down by injuries.

    Stop. Just stop.

No derogatory comment about the Mavs or their players is unprovoked.

You've got to be kidding me. The Spurs are the lesser of the 2 evils. Hell, I'd cheer for any team in this league before I cheer for the Mavs. I can't believe I actually wanted to make the Mavs my 2nd favorite team a few years ago. At least Cuban acting like a 3rd grader cured that illness.

Didn't Carl Herrera have a shoulder injury that keep him from being the ever the same player he once was. Shoulder injuries are a serious thing and I hope DWade does come back but I doubt it will be this season.

Tell it like it is! Glad you got cured of your illness.

With ONE exception: I would prefer the Mavs over the Pistons in the Finals.

oh hell no! The last thing I want is Mark Cuban and his fans gloating over the summer as champs, that is like Carrot Top getting to date Adriana Lima and him gloating about it. I don't care if Detroit has 10 riots, I don't want the Mavs to ever get a ring, they need to taste disappointment over and over again.

Disagree. Why hate on the Pistons? I like Sheed, I like Webber, I like Billups and Rip, and the only guy I used to dislike on that team is not there anymore (Ben). They're a hard-working, blue-collar type of team and I like them.

ANYONE over the Mavs would get my vote. I would root for the Spurs in a heartbeat against the Mavs. The Spurs aren't arrogant, they're a classy organization with a classy superstar and a great coach. It's much easier rooting for a team with a lot of character guys, especially when they're playing a team full of pricks and an a-hole of an owner.

The Spurs just go about their business like the Rockets do. I would root for the Suns, Spurs and anyone else against the Mavs.

    Let it be known...

I thought the Spurs are a very likable team, they're as classy as you can get these days. Except for Bruce Bowen maybe, but it's arguable.

    I mean..

Tony Parker gets Eva Longoria ...wedding coming soon...?

Manu Ginobili - NBA and Olympic champion...

Tim Duncan - classy as you can get, even though he's boring as heck.

I hate the Mavs just as much as the next guy, but I don't think many are capable of even imagining the hatred I feel toward the Spurs.

My goal for the Rockets this year is to finish ahead of San Antonio in the standings and go further in the playoffs - ideally beating them head-to-head.

Once that part's out of the way and I successfully annoy the hell out of all these Spur-loving Texans for an entire offseason, I'll begin focusing my hatred on the Mavs starting next season.

It's been nearly 10 years of looking up at the Spurs, but only a season and a half since the Mavs became legitimate contenders. They can wait, my friend.
