Football and basketball was my reasons.....it's one of the most painful things EVER. Yes....I teared up on a couple of mine too lol

It's very unfortunate....I don't wish injury on anyone. I like Wade.....I hope he gets healthy soon.

Heat might become more watchable now that I don't have to sit through a 30+ FT fest.

Wow, horrible news for Wade, actually like the guy, even though the refs might as well wear Wade jerseys as well.

Bad karma. Riley suddenly leaves when they're losing with Shaq out and Wade not really doing it by himself. Shaq comes back, the Heat get on a run and then Riley all of a sudden returns to the bandwagon for what woulda seemed like an easy jog thru the playoffs. Now Wade gets hurt for what I assume to be 6-8 weeks and they're 2 games up at the 8th seed. I wanna see what he's gonna do now. Let's see "15 strong" now.

Get well soon though Wade. The East playoffs aren't gonna be as much fun.

Too bad he got hurt. But come on with the sympathy. It's just an injury, and not even one that's remotely career threatening.

Actually, it's kind of fitting to actually see him take some punishment now considering he's built alot of his fame on his acting skills.

Wade scores close to 12 points a game from the free throw line because he penetrates, and so many times doesn't even get touched at all, but drives and just falls down and gets a foul called. The treatment he gets from the refs is ridiculous.

SJC you shouldn't throw around the "Owned" comments without taking care of your own positions (previous page). ;)

Wade gets his fair share of calls but he also is a physical player who takes a lot of punishmen. Him being an "actor" is absolutely ridiculous. That is a label for your floppers and flailers like Laimbeer, Valde, Dirk, Karl Malone and Manu's of the current and former NBA.

Man reading through "some" of these points, some of ya'll are classless. DWade is one of the more likeable not only players in the league, but persons. Injuries are part of the game, and lord knows the Rockets have had their fair share, but to wish injury on people or to claim the way they got hurt was bound to happen   . I don't get that at all. These guys are still humans beings, they are not robots. Think before you speak or type. Thats all I ask.....

That's what I thought of... hopefully, it's either not as bad, he's just physically different, or medical science is better, because Herrera was never the same player. :(

dude wade got hurt 90sec into the 4th qtr, and you are saying the 4th qtr was controlled by Heat??? TMac didn't even have time to throw his punch yet after wade got a fast start that qtr. Rox were just too relaxed having led 10+ pts most time in the game.

    Since you asked:

Reason 1) is one thing I can see. It seems as if players from conference rivals are looked at in a more critical way, which is somewhat understandable.

Reason 2) doesn't apply, since Dirk is not a punk - less so than Wade, imo, who felt the need to make unprovoked derogatory comments about a player on another team.

I didn't say all of the group were punks. But all were on rivals and many are punks on top (Kobe and Howard bigtime, Terry somewhat). Boozer is no punk (except maybe to Cavs folks), but there was some tempered ethusiasm for his injury situation around here simply because he was a Jazz cog.

And I won't say Dirk is a punk, but he is no less of one than Wade, and he certainly does more selling of calls w/o contact than Wade does. And Wade's comments about Dirk were no more out of bounds than Dirks were. Dirk was the 1st to open his mouth and imply the Heat and Wade didn't earn the title--that it was given to them by the Mavs (not an extact quote but easy to interpret Dirk's comments that way, and not what you say to your opposition even if you think it is true, just like Wade even if he thinks Dirk did choke he should not say that either out of respect to your competitor).

Ever had a shoulder injury yourself? Dislocation? Ripped shoulder tissue?
This stuff can really take time to heal, and once it heals, the flexibility you once had in that muscle is never 100%.
