Their season strangely mirrors our season last year. Point guard goes down early in the season. Then center goes down with leg injury. Star wing player goes down with injury for a while, then comes back. Center returns for a few games. Then shortly after the allstar break, star wing player goes down with another injury that probably takes him out for the rest of the regular season.

They're not in as big a hole as we were at this time last year, so their playoff hopes are still somewhat alive especially if they can spring a trade before the deadline. I really feel badly for them.

So Miami gonna go for Vince Carter or Kidd?

I feel bad for Wade, he is truly one of the classiest guys in the league, just because the NBA and refs suck up to him doesn't take away the fact he is a classy guy. In fact his demeanor and personality reminds me of Hakeem.

He's just quoting some Rocky IV. C'mon man, no matter how bad the situation is you can always find some comic relief by quoting a Rocky passage.

On a more serious note though, all you can really do is wish D-Wade a speedy recovery. Just remember what it was like for a Rockets fan the night Yao went down.

Wade actually fouled Battier on that play. The refs swallowed their whistles, as usual.

That really sucks, its not like its Kobe or Dirk or Terry or Nash, Wade is in the East, not threat to the Rockets, I hope he gets well real soon, he is one of the good guys in basketball, on and off the court.

But at least they do get to feel our pain from the last 2 yrs, ith tmac/yao

Joe Dumars can thank us for the Eastern Conference championship the Pistons will now win.

There goes the showdown between Wade and Dirk tomorrow's game....

Get well, Wade, come back soon and stronger than before just like Yao!

As bad as I honestly feel for Wade, that's true.

I wonder how many people will see that he fouled Shane big time in the replays? Probably no one will care.

Doesn't matter, anyways, get well Wade. Ever since you stopped the Mavs from winning the championship, regardless of preferential treatment, you have been one of my favorite non-Rockets.

i wonder if the networks will drop the heat games like they did to the rockets last year.

i hope wade is fine, but the heat are not a fun team to watch imo and i look and see they are on tnt tomorrow and abc sunday. i think they have the most nationally televised game it seems the heat are always on but i am sure without wade networks who can "flex" schedule just might.

sucks i really dont want to see anything just given to the pistons

Wade might be healthy in time for the playoffs if the Heat make it in.

I think recovery is like six weeks. Which is roughly how much time it would take Wade to comeback.

Just an assumption though, from me. I read it in some medical website.

I agree if there is anyone worth wishing ill will on it is Dirk and Cuban. (Ok also Stackhouse, Josh Howard, Terry, and the Rest of the Mavericks)... well lets throw Marquis Daniels in there also..

From me, that's my opinion. It's a dislocated shoulder, not a torn acl. If it's not career threatening and the Heat are still in the playoff hunt, then I'm willing to bet Wade will be on the playoff roster.

You knew it had to be something pretty bad from the way he reacted. The guy is no sissy that's going to go out of a game or get shelved because of a weak injury. Seeing him bawling in that chair was pretty sad. I hope he has a quick recovery and he's in a lot less pain now. Man, I can't even wish a Maverick an injury like that - it looked brutal. No matter what you think of the guy and him always getting calls, he still seems like a class act and you hate to see things like that happen to seemingly good guys like him. Get well DWade.
