I'm sorry to hear this. I hope he makes it back somehow and the Heat squeak into the 8th spot and make the playoffs. If Wade is gone for the season, I'm not sure the Heat will make the postseason. I think they will considering they only need to stay ahead of the Nets and Knicks.

Good win for us but the Wade news bums me out. :( :(

Get well soon D-Wade. That is really sad. :(

I guess you can hand the Eastern Conference championship to the Pistons.

Who knows...this could be a blessing in disguise for the Heat. Sure, Shaq would never let his team tank but, with the players they have right now, it's going to be hard to compete, even in the East. Outside of Wade, Jason Kapono was their only consistent scorer before Shaq came back.

It would be real weird if Miami just mailed in the season, get the 1st pick in the NBA Draft, pick Oden and well..you get the picture. I mean...it's never happened before (outside of San Antonio)

Honestly guys we have to be a little more sympathetic than that. We've experience this one too many time in the past couple of year, heck our best player is still out of the lineup and tmac looked a little shaken up after the game.

Love or hate wade he is one of the best players in the nba. I sincerely hope it is not that bad.

    Get well soon wade.

And we were supposed to suck without Yao. Let's just wait and see.

this is an older shaq so that time has long gone. prime shaq did just fine without kobe. they had a similar win% with shaq and no kobe as they had with both in the regular season. but the reverse wasn't true, the lakers were much worse without shaq and just kobe.

shaq doesn't need to show and prove anymore, he's past that ... he's proven.

this injury sucks cause we were legitamately beating them with their full compliment of players and coaches, but now that is forgotten as wade's injury takes center stage(as it should) but we were playing at an amazingly high level right now.

Based on what we've seen the Heat look like without Wade this season, I'd say the early prognosis is not good at all. You think we need better guards ... the Heat guards are worse than ours. Even Yao as good as he is couldn't carry the Rockets as well as T-Mac does. Without Wade their offense goes to the crapper. You can only dump it inside to Shaq so often before someone finds a way to shut you down, and with nobody on the perimeter able to create offense, you have a big problem on your hands.

You are a ****ing idiot dude. I am no fan of Wade, but this is a freakin basketball game. At first I thought he was acting, but when I saw the tears coming out I couldn't help but feel extremely bad for him.

If as a human being you can't have sympathy for a guy like D-Wade, crying due to a dislocated shoulder, then you are a dumbass.

it was pretty close, as soon as wade went out, tmac got loose and put the smack down, but the 4th was being controlled clearly by heat

its a lot different. the league is structured better for a guard to be a play maker for the team. while shaq is still a mismatch every night teams can crowd him because no one else on the heat will have an issue without wade there. Its more similar as how this team did without mcgrady in the lineup as opposed to yao.

i feel for the heat seeing how the rockets went through the same problem last year and to some extent this year too with the injuries to the two best players. i dont like wade but there is no arguing that he is one of the top players in the league and losing him is just going to make it worse for the nba.

the east was pretty much given to the pistons tonight, i dont expect cleveland or washington to do anything.

I'd trade this win for Wade's health; but, it's done. Get well soon D-Wade.

I wonder if Riley would trade us their pesky little back-up PG Chris Quinn (sp?) for Snyder. I like Snyder, but Bonzi's starting to find his inner beast, so... We'll see.
