I actually read on another website that the punch did, in fact, connect and it shattered Vince's hand. Fortunately, he was bred in the same Weapon X compound as Wolverine so his regeneration powers took over and formed a new hand in no time flat.
Some of you guys need to let it go. Just ignore the VY lovers and Titans fans if they rile you up that much.
video of the "fight" for those who haven't seen it good to see VY step up and defend a teammate shows some leadership. The Titans are his team and he was just letting this scrub know that stuff like that won't fly while he's the QB. Also good to see the presser afterwards where VY and Nickey said that they had gotten past the fight. These types of deals happen all the time, its news though because rarely do they involve a franchise player like Vince.
that dude who was messing with Vince is now going to purgatory at the least. he needs to do some hail marys for forgiveness now.
Loved it. Did any of yall see Bo Scaife jump in there later and get into it with that Nickey dude? That guy should just pack his things now and go home. There no chance in hell that he makes the team.
If Vince was all powerful, he wouldn't have needed to throw a punch. He displayed weakness. He could have walked up to the guy and talked to him. The guy would have learned the error in his ways. Instead, he lost his control and threw a punch in a fit of anger. I'm not impressed by that. The fact that team members are attacking each other is a direct reflection on the team allowing an outside disturbance affect their focus. Anyone that says that action like this bring a team together are wrong. I hope our team doesn't do this crap.
Carr would never do anything like that for a WR. That's why no one respected him. Also, VY had to throw a slap at the guy because if he would have thrown a punch it might have killed him. VY saved that guys life.
If Mario Williams had thrown a punch in Texans' camp, the same people praising VY would probably be bashing Super Mario.
That's because Mario does not yet know how to throw a leadership punch. Those are punches where you let your teammates do most of the work for you, and then somehow you get credit for it.
If Vance Young was worried about an injury to Courtney Roby (who???) hurting his teams chances this year, then the Titans are in worse shape than I thought.
What outside disturbance? That was an in house skirmish. Nothing more, nothing less. After a while guys get tired of going against each other all day, twice a day, every day in training camp while its hot and humid outside. It can bring closer to your teammates because it allows you to release your pent up frustrations build a mutual respect for each other. You dont usually hear about too many fights during the regular season anyway.
