True. This is one area where he just sucks compared to Vince. Young has an incredibly strong, accurate arm and delivers passes on the money both short and long. Schaub is a highly inaccurate passer that has proven he needs his running game to win games for him. Today's two underthrows just further cement that.

    rep'd.

Foster had a hell of a game. When you can just run...run...run. What's the point of throwing it?

how many people in here are T-shirt Longhorn fans that have no affiliation at all to UT and are just still riding Vince's nuts from his Texas days?

Why don't you just require people to post their SAT scores and high school class rank in every discussion, therefore you can feel superior/inferior without all this "t-shirt fans" jargon and sillliness.

It started the Thursday/Friday before the draft when word got out that the pick was going to be Williams. It swelled to a maximum during the rookie seasons of VY/Mario. It has only died out during the offseason and the year that Collins was starting after Young imploded. Texans fans fired back to defend their coach, owner, and team but VY fans started the whole thing. Texans fans who weren't happy initially with the pick have come around.

And really, it shouldn't be Schaub vs Young, but Williams vs Young. And that's looking like a really easy decision these days.

Think maybe T-Shirt fans is another way of saying bandwagon fans. Not sure its out of a superiority/inferiority thing. At least as someone who did not attend UT nor is a fan of UT that's how I see it.

aka something used by Texas Tech alumni to invoke a fleeting feeling of superiority over SWTSU alumni.

If you read it as me being highly sarcastic and putting Vince's problems on Schaub, then it is not broken. If you read it as me seriously berating Schaub and praising Vince, then your meter is broken!

Uh, cause I just said I went to SFA. As opposed to just talking them up in threads without any real background? Also, the only SFA shirt I still have is my old basketball band shirt. Roaring Buzzsaws wooo!

hahah I'm gonna have to go with "uhhh what?" again. Where did this whole superiority thing come from? And why are two schools, Texas Tech and SWTSU, being mentioned when I was talking about the University of Texas? This is a thread about Vince Young. Vince Young's "god-like" status was a creation of his play at the University of Texas, and my original comment was a question as to why there are so many people that are die hard Vince Young fans? I mean yea, its understandable to be a fan, but some people are IN LOVE with the guy despite his up and down NFL career, all because of what he did for UT. And many of those people are more proud to wear the burnt orange colors than people that actually went there (I did not).

Hamburgers, hotdogs, iPhone, stapler, and Lysol can. (I can throw random things that make no sense in my replies as well)
