Uh, you realize I bring that up because of people scoffing at the Texans history and their fans loyalty, right? How much more "legit" is Titans history and Nashville fandom if they're only 10 years old? Its a silly argument.
Carr absolutely sucked. He needed excuses made for him to justify negative passing yards. It frustrated the crap out of me to watch that guy play so cluelessly each week...and then hear people say it wasn't really any of his doing. Schaub is an entirely different QB than that. He's very good.
VY just has an knack to win...he wasn't outstanding, but good enough plus they finally had a running game... Good for VY...
Schaub has been nothing but spectacular this season, but apparently there are 13-15 QBs out there just that much better, according to DD. But don't ask him to explain himself! Schaub's just a mediocre guy with a mediocre arm.
in defense of VY, he's a big part as to why they had a breakout running game yesterday. i was never a vick fan...i don't think you can win a super bowl with a QB who can't pass. you have to be able to stretch the defense at some point....but Vick's Falcons were always towards the top of the league in rushing, and it wasn't just him. when you have a QB that a linebacker has to be concerned with running all game long, it opens things up for other runners.
i really hope vince takes advantage of his opportunity. if he succeeds it might end up at fisher's expense. i don't understand the relationship between those two.
As for Vince, I'm happy for him. I hope he does well, except when he plays the Texans. He was an electrifying player in college, and very exciting to watch. I think VY will get a lot of wins if Chris Johnson gets 230 yards a game. VY's job was to not turn the ball over that game, I think I would've gotten my first W in the NFL had I started for the Titans with CJ running like that. Hope VY can have a good career, but I hope the Titans crash and burn.
I think Fisher was trying to get him to grow up, to break him down and build him back up. If Vince has it in him, and I think he does, at the end of the day this will make him a better QB. DD
I am a UT alum and I love VY and appreciate what he did for us in 2005. I did wish the Texans would have drafted VY and I think he would have been a different QB under Kubiak. Over the last two years, I understand why we didn't. I am glad we have Mario and Matt instead of VY. First off, since I have sunday tix I watched the game yesterday and VY had alot to do with why the Titans won but until they win on the road next week I wouldn't say he has overcome anything. But if they win next week and he plays even better we have to start thinking in three weeks it is going to be one hell of a game on Monday night. I'll still root for the Texans but I'll also root for VY... Man I can't wait to go to that game.

It's not about UT. I would love to have Cedric Benson or Michael Huff on the Texans. VY had a good game, good for him. Now we have to deal with the Texans haters brining up this thread again. But the Titans are still only 1-6, and the Texans 5-3. Not much of a rivalry this year.

I absolutely hate the Cowboys and Jerry Jones, but have Tony Romo as my QB. Just gotta put your feelings aside sometimes!
