I'm hoping his best defensive player is suspended for a year like the rumors suggest. Can you imagine Pac-Man Jones with a year off and nothing to do? He'll be in jail or dead by the 2008 season. Of course, VY will simply step in and play some defense next year making Ronnie Lott look like a sissy boy.
........to ease the pain just a little. Ask them to bite a chunk out of your ear too. At least you'll be thinking about something else for a few minutes.
Well she obviously didn't think he was Reggie Bush, or she would have asked for a 100 spot to show him the back door entrance. You don’t they just rename “Houston” to “Youngstown”. Sam was born in Virginia after all.
The criticism of his skills as an NFL player are grossly overrated. Pro bowl as a rookie, lead the team to the playoffs in Year 2. Blew up mentally in year 3. Did the same thing at Texas in 2004, and reponsided beautifully. He'll be back.
What a great touchdown pass, smoke literally came off the ball when it was released from his golden arm. The angels cried and jesus ripped a bong hit.
The unfortunate secret that the UT fans are too blinded to see is that he was every bit the disaster in Year 2 that he was in Year 3. Kerry Collins took that team to the playoffs, playing fabulously off the bench after numerous VY lapses/injuries. In fact, in the regular season finale against the Colts that the Titans had to win to get to the playoffs, Vince left in the first half, and Collins took them to the win. Collins' performances in the Houston and Indianapolis games almost single-handedly lifted that offense to narrow division road wins -- the true difference in what made them a playoff team. Of course, the truth of the matter is that the Titans defense "took them" to the playoffs, but in the bizarro fan world of the NFL, where quarterbacks singlehandedly win and lose games themselves, it doesn't work out that way. I've got a serious question for the "Vince took his team to the playoffs" crowd. Using the exact same logic, Rex Grossman led his team to the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl. Are NFL teams foolish for not even giving him a backup job? PS: Vince in 2004 was one of the most dynamic players in the country, and capped that year with one of the greatest bowl performances in the history of the sport. To compare that at all to his year 2 or year 3 in the NFL is more than a little silly.
