Well skip has been supportive of Vince all along, but let's not get too carried away lol. I'm also throwing out Stephen A. Smith's opinion on this completely.

What I noticed was that Herm Edwards even admits, despite still towing the company line with some of his put downs, he still has credibility & even he admits VY will likely have a job.

Sucking on the field isn't what knocked VY out of Nashville.

Of course he should get another shot. Jesus died for our sins at age 33..vince is ahead of the curve compared to jesus at age 30.

A perfect match. He can compete with Terrell Pryor for the starting job.

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...-young-no-longer-a-target-for-oakland-raiders

You can cross the Oakland Raiders off the list of potential landing spots for free-agent quarterback Vince Young.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday on "NFL Total Access" that the Raiders no longer have interest in Young after using their fourth-round pick on Tyler Wilson during the 2013 NFL Draft last weekend.

It's a disappointing development for Young, who had a strong workout with the Raiders in April. The Raiders workout came off an impressive pro day performance at the University of Texas.

Rapoport was told Young is not interested in kick-starting his career with a CFL team. The Montreal Alouettes hold Young's CFL rights. General manager Jim Popp said Young would be a backup with the Alouettes, playing behind 40-year-old quarterback Anthony Calvillo. (The indignity never ends.)

If the NFL isn't calling, and the CFL isn't an option, what's next? With his 30th birthday approaching, Young's future is as hazy as ever.

He's a Dream Teamer for sure now. The only place he is suiting up these days is in his sleep.

I don't follow this but I have a group of UT friends and they say that VY is being blackballed from the NFL by Jeff Fisher, they seem to have some compelling arguments and really believe this... Are they just a fringe group or do all UT fans think that Fisher is keeping VY out of the NFL?

Yes he is getting black balled.

Jeff fisher coaches 31 other teams.

If the dude sucks, don't you think Jeff fisher wants him to play? It would make it easier for him.

No, they are the minority. It's terrible logic and, to be blunt, stupoid.

How is Jeff Fisher so powerful that he can convince an entire league to not sign a guy that could actually help them? Why hasn't Fisher used these overwhelming powers to do so with all players that could help other teams? If he had such power, why wouldn't he be ringing up his 8th consecutive superbowl victor?

Vince has blackballed Vince. At this point in his career, a team just isn't very willing to take a chance on a guy who is about to turn 30 and has a long history of not putting forth effort to improve himself and his team. A team would rather have a guy early 20s with hopes of him developing than one almost 30.
