Its all one big conspiracy against VY. He would have been the best football player of all time had the rest of the league not conspired to keep him out of football!! PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Get over it UT Fans. Was a great athlete, but just could not make it in the NFL. His first pro bowl was given to him by all they hype over him coming out of college, and winning a few games. The second was because of injury to other QB's and the AFC running out of QB options. He has always received waaaay to much credit for winning those games with Tennessee. The Titans Defense and great running game was the reason " Vince just wins."
so he made 2 pro bowls but couldn't make it in the nfl? even being an alternate alternate alternate pro-bowler would seem to indicate you are better than quite a few other guys who apparently can make it in the nfl. lol, yeah. they were 0-6 and then he became the starter and they went 8-2. the biggest turnaround in league history just happens to start right when he becomes the starter. maybe we should give credit to all of the other things that didn't change. in terms of ppg by year, the titans defense ranked: 2006 - 32nd (there are only 32 teams in the nfl, so this is bad) 2007 - 8th 2008 - 2nd (vince wasn't the starter) 2009 - 28th (again, this is bad) 2010 - 15th so an average of 21st in the 4 years vince got a lot of starts. fantastic. and ol' cj2k, who got those 2k yards when he took off right when vince took over as starter in 2009, hasn't looked anything like he used to ever since vince left. the running game always got better when vince started. but maybe that was just a coincidence, too.

He looks good man. Just hope the right team picks him up this time. Someone with an elite defense, coaching, and enough quality pieces already in place, so that they're only lacking a dynamic playmaker qb who knows how to win games, & will put them over the top.
Having to have your RB tell your backup QB the play because he didn't learn the playbook is probably not going to earn you a second gig with a head coach.

Hopefully he's matured and improved. But he's probably going to have to audition with a new head coach for a starting gig. Andy Reid is the one that released Vince last year, having no interest in him as a backup again.
