Same thing if he developed the superpowers of Spider-Man while also growing two wings and gaining the ability to fly. Make it happen Vince.
sadly this is more likely at this point. but don't rule out divine intervention. god works in mysterious ways.
He was never given a fair shake. Even with all his success at texas, Bush gets all the hype over VY, yet who's the heisman NOW, when vy singlehandedly won the rose bowl? Then jeff fischer does everything in his power to be able to keep VY on the sidelines without repercussion from fans & owner by tailoring the offense specifically for senior citiZen kerry collins, putting vy in less than optimal positions to succeed, treating him with no respect, & even spreading rumors about vy so jeff fischer doesn't look bad. & blowing his personal problems out of proportion- what happened to what happens in the locker room stays in the locker room? And now he gets CUT? At a time like this? You don't send a man back out on the street without a job who has freaking borderline illegal predatory lenders breathing down his necK. Real classy. No I don't expect sympathy from the haters. I do expect vy to make a comeback, & don't be surprised if he gets in the right system to showcase his skills when he wins a superbow.
I love VY but he put himself in this position. It's not Jeff Fisher's fault. The guy quit on his team twice. It is what it is. Don't fault the Bills for doing what they need to do either. VY's financial troubles are not their or their fans responsibilities.
I'm just saying it's pretty crappy timing, & they shouldn't have signed him in the first place if this is what the y were going to pull. Let soemone who knows how to use him sign him, instead of waiting until now & cutting him. David freaking Carr has a job in the nfl, yet VY's not good enough to be a backup? And you seriously think j. Fischer didn't have an agenda against vy & biased everything in collin's favor? Had his back in press conferences? Didn't unnecessarily air his dirty laundry?
This is how the NFL works. Guys compete and they get cut. I'm sure he would still be their QB if he didn't go 12-26 with two INTs against PITT. He didn't perform and got replaced. Do you honestly believe that they brought him in when they knew they would cut him? Why would they do that? Why? Please explain what you think goes on in the heads of NFL GMs. Is he better than David Carr? He needs to play better. You can't say he is better just because his name is Vince Young. VY quit on his team and it rubbed Fisher the wrong way. Let's not forget Collins led the team to a 13-3 record. He was better than Vince for that team. Vy took the team the next year and went 5-5 before getting hurt. Fisher isn't the reason VY hasn't played well in the last two years. Fisher didn't force VY to take off his shoulder pads in his last game as a titan and throw them in the stands. You think other organizations don't red flag that? THe dude isn't a victim.
You're right. I did mean to focus on best player "of those 3" in that draft, my mistake taking it further. I had a lot of stats typed in I was gonna bore everyone with, but I'll whittle it down to saying: - Mario Williams even with games missed is in the top 10 in total sacks since he's come into the league. Possibly top 5 in down lineman when you take the LBs out of it. - Even though I don't think Mario is worth his ridiculous contract, top 5 D lineman easily beats slightly above average versatile specialist. Bush was a decently good pass catcher out the backfield. The only time Reggie Bush was a game breaker was 1 year as punt returner. Every other punt return year he was BAD. We already know his troubles going between the tackles. Even with flaws, any player will look servicable with 200+ touches. - Bush was a spark for New Orleans after Katrina. Thats where the human element is at play. He gets credit for that despite his on-field performance. Bush was worth every force feed just to hang hopes onto. And thats why those players have the interest they have, its the unavoidable storylines. Vince Young was the NCAA champion turned college immortal, Bush was the hyped Heisman winner and pride of a ravaged New Orleans, Mario was the big risk and reluctant scene stealer to all of that.
Getting a big contract doesn't automatically make you a great player. I loved and defended him while he was in Houston, but for a guy with only 2 double-digit sack years in his 6-year career to be the highest paid defensive player in the game? That's just stupidity on the part of the Bills. He's definitely the best of the 3, but that's not saying much.
Do you not have a clue how the NFL works? By your logic a team should never bring more than 53 players into training camp, because otherwise some guys are going to get cut and have to find a new job, and well, that's just mean. These are adults and the NFL is a business. Just because Vince was treated like a child and coddled his entire life doesn't mean it is going to continue when he gets into real world.
How they are paid is meaningless. Mario Williams isn't the best defensive player in the game, and it isn't close. I remember when Albert Haynesworth was the highest paid defensive player in the game (and at least his play before getting the deal was DPOY worthy). This is a pretty big year for both to prove themselves. If both stay healthy, I bet both make the pro-bowl.
Waaaaaa they cut vince young!!! Waaaaaa! You obviously have no idea how professional sports work. You sign guys, if they can't perform up to your standards, they get cut. Hey man, it happens. Steve Francis was traded from Houston for a 2nd time, on Xmas day. The rockets cut Lin around Christmas time as well. Blaming the team for cutting Vince young is r****ded.
never given a fair shake? bwahahahhaaahaha. several seasons in TEN, back up for the Dream Team, and then a third chance with the Bills and he couldn't even win the back up position. no wonder VY is delusional. his fans keep feeding him the "it's everyone else's fault" kool-aid.
