Or, it could just be exactly what we've seen: he's pretty good when on the field but has major attitude issues that coaches don't want to deal with.

But separate from Vince, your premise is silly. No one gave Michael Vick a starting job last year. But as it turns out, he was pretty good. The idea that everyone good always will be given a starting job just isn't true.

Vick is a completely different situation, any fan that watches sports center knows that...not to mention the fact that vick was pointed in the direction of the eagles.

My only premise is that if VY was half way decent he would AT LEAST been offered a chance to compete for a starting job. That opportunity was not out there for him. SO my question is: What does that tell us fans what coaches think about him?

Coaches don't think highly of him - we know that. Coaches didn't think highly of Kurt Warner either; he could barely get a gig as a backup, and only became a starter due to injury. Was he not good? Sometimes, people don't get opportunities for various reasons (Warner). Othertimes, they lose their opportunities due to attitude or other other problems (Vince, Vick).

There was no offseason this year - you have to build an offense for a give like Vince, and there are a lot of questionmarks about him; it's not particularly surprising that no one gave him a starting opportunity this year.

only two picks in the first half? I must admit he is doing better than I thought.

The 2nd one isn't on him. Ross (fellow longhorn funny enough) held the arm of the philly receiver so the ball hit the eagle square in the helmet knocking the ball into the air.

He is playing really really cautiously. Going to 5 yard passes when he can. He definitely looks like a guy who hasn't played in a year. I'm sure it has been a humbling 8 months.

2 picks, below 50% passing and his team is winning. That's classic Vince "He Just Wins" Young.

He'd also be on pace for about 300 yards passing if not for the bizarre Desean Jackson taunting play. You can definitely tell he's rusty - he's gotten better as the game has gone along, and has gotten no help from the running game. But he's still making his share of mistakes out there.

people do this crap in the GARM too, commenting on games they aren't even watching.

There was one instance that Yao had a bad rebounding game against the Celtics and I was critical of it.

YOF starts yacking at me. Then I asked him why Yao got outrebounded by Len Bias, and he told me.

I'm so happy fellow 99ers are here. Some people just don't know what they are talking about, the 99ers usually do.
