Kevin Durant plays in the NorthWest Division. Sure, it's cool not to care about that Texans. Why not. You keep your eye out on them. It's obvious. We know. But you were one of the biggest obnoxious folks on this board about it, and how the Texans were doomed FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER FOREVER AND EVER.
I didn't say there were doomed, I only gloated when they beat the Texans I do have to say the Texans game was very entertaining to watch this week. All the VY haters should be happy that Austin is now showing the Texans instead of the Titans on TV.
See, you got your eyes out. Feel the rise. I know you can't feel it where you're at, but where I am at, you can definitely feel something in the air. Something's special is happening. It's not quite there, but we will know it in a month and a half.
I don't have Sunday ticket. I have to watch what they put on tv. I thought that Kubiak's punt instead of kicking a field goal would doom the Texans, but I guess luck has turned for the Texans. I won't root for the Texans, but I don't want the Cowboys to win. can't root for Dallas..ever. Actually I bet the Cowboy fans want them to lose too cause I heard on NFL radio that if the Cowboys lose, then Wade Phillips gets the axe
No he isn't. He is pretty mediocre if you think about it. He has coached 16 years has had 6 winning seasons and 6 playoff appearances. 6/16, I think that is mediocre. Not terrible, but not great. for comparison cowher has had 11/14 winning seasons and 10 playoff appearances. He has been there a while, but I don't think he is a great coach.
And only 2 playoff wins in the last 10 years. Jeff Fisher is extremely overrated. He should have lost his job last year.
Kind of hard to blame him when he is forced to use a mediocre QB. The rest of the team is in pretty good shape. The defense and runninggame are top notch.
On a more positive note, this is why VY is a great person. Big ups to the guy. http://blogs.tennessean.com/titans/...=cUlsVaBwjh5JtlM4CZ2tlWidvJtoiNLKHLifY5o8sOo=
He's had 3 different quarterbacks make the pro bowl. And their defense is mediocre at best these days and last year. But the running game is good, so you're batting .333, very good in baseball... On the unusually quick hook, former Titan and current Giant Louis Bulluck yesterrday:
Upon further inspection, those numbers seem kind of familiar. http://www.nfl.com/players/davidcarr/profile?id=CAR358385 Passing Yards: 3500 Passer Rating: 83 Rushing Yards: 300 YPC: 4.0 Just sayin... If David Carr can do it, then it might be time to raise your expectations a little bit...
Indeed, the defense was turds last year, until the schedule went cupcake. Looks shaky, but slightly better this year. But as far as Pro Bowl QBs... we've gone over how hollow that stat is about a million times, so no sense in arguing about it again, but it's pretty much obvious that the only QB from that crop whom people would typically consider overwhelmingly responsible for the Titans success, rather than a beneficiary of circumstance, is McNair. So to claim, simply via the Pro Bowl nods, that Fisher has had better than average QB talent to work with since 2005, is a tad disingenuous.
