I remained a fan of the Oilers and continue to be a Titans fan since they left and I recall lots of hatred (even the last couple of years) towards anyone who still supported the Titans. Now that VY is there, there seems to be alot of change in attitude, lots of folks jumping on the bandwagon. Bud Adams is STILL the owner. Can those of you who switched please explain? Go Titans!
Born and raised in Houston. Moved to Nashville in 2000. I lived there for 4 years and supported the Titans. When we got the Texans, I became a fan of the Texans and like both teams. When they play each other, I pull for the Texans because I'm Houston fan first.
Newman getting tackled by his own guy was pretty funny. Haynesworth stomped his face. Hopefully Gurode is okay. If the NFL has balls Haynesworth should be out for the year.
Oh, I didn't realize you meant VY. I don't hate him at all, I hate the Houston based traitor fanboys. Like I said, it would be the same as Rockets fans becoming Jazz fans because of some college player then starting threads about that player. It should not be tolerated.
MR. MEOWGI speaks the truth!! Many REAL HOUSTONIANS are tired of Vince Young , and certainly wish nothing but ill on him and the damn Titans. Vince will be a bust and the Titans will look like fools for choosing him over Cutler and Leinart.
vince had an ok game. down by 3 scores in the 4th quarter affected the play calling in the end explaining the 2 TO's in the quarter. tennessee scores 14 pts which is their season high. like kepow said, it aint gonna happen overnight.
If he was a Houstonian who led a state school to a national championship, it woldn't be a problem. You keep forgetting that Vince Young is more of a Houstonian than you are.
yeah collins is freakin terrible, but I don't see why they started Vince off against the cowboys, we (I'm a diehard longtime cowboys fan) have a staunch D. should have waited a week I think
You can hate the Titans as much as you want, but a REAL HOUSTONIAN supports a player who was born and raised right in the heart of Houston, took his h.s. to the state championships, and won a NC for a Texas college. Don't question who and who isn't a real Houstonian dude, you have no idea. BTW, good to see VY able to sit in the pocket and make passes. He made mistakes and he will learn from them. Interesting to see Fisher elect to go with VY against the Cowboys, they have a good defense, especially compared to the other defenses the Titans will see later on this season.
VY for the game 14/29 1 td, 2 int, 155 yards, 1 Fumble Lost 2 Turnovers that directly lead to Dallas points. You're right pgab, he does have bust written all over him.
For a Texas college, but not a HOUSTON one. This "true" Houstonian chose to leave the city of Houston to play his college career. A REAL Houstonian doesn't make those kind of moves.
