Because clearly, football games are one-on-one matchups and not matchups that are composite results of more than 50 players and coaching staffs scheming against one another. No, individual players win and lose the games.
Good call....I'm curious myself. But right now, my expectations are tempered. I'd just like to see him progress as the season goes on. The Titans are a pretty crappy team, but to see him get more comfortable in the offense, get a feel for when scrambling is a good idea, etc. would help me consider his rookie season a success since he'll likely start the rest of the year. I'm curious to see how Norm Chow adapts to his talents, as well. Obviously, Leinart et al. weren't typically shotgun QBs at USC, but maybe Chow will find that it adds a new dimension to his offense.
I'm pretty sure that if they try to use that offense, its because Vince has trouble handling anything else so far, and needs the extra shotgun time to evaluate the defense.
