There is nothing abnormal about their minutes and Tuesday to Thursday is 2 days.

Until the rooks get accustomed to defense, there's no problem with JVG not playing them. It's dissappointing for all of us who want to see some more excitement on offense, but too bad. I'd rather this team develop into a contender.

Another anti-JVG November 2006 rookie... well I'll be... at least 4 so far.

So tell me, as a Rockets fan, how can you avoid this board until now? I'm really curious about all of you.

I went to the game last Friday, and observed VSpan at various times during the game. Sometimes he was paying attention, other times he had a blank stare on his face. During time outs, he was watching the screens above mid court to see which color Joe's Crabshack crab won the race; during another time out, he was looking arould the arena, trying to find out which section won some McDonalds' prize. I guess he wasn't itching to get into that gave very badly...

Uh, JVG knows how it feels to sit on a bench. That's why he left Yale for Nazareth.

vspan is better than tony parker, it's a shame he has to sit on the bench.

I also think that Vspan and Nowak can make a difference on the court, preventing the team from collapsing in the 4th quarter. But I don't think that they can get such chances with JVG the garbage as the coach. JVG is wasting the talented players, i hate him!

i think he will get a break... i think JVG doesn't wanna give easy minutes to the rookies, he wanna make them work hard to get playin time. Plus i think it's fair to the veterans.

VSpan is not a high profile rookie. He's a second round draft pick.

    Thanks for playing.

This is so misrepresented...that was 3+ years ago, and he would have been a high first round pick if he came out this year.

He is 25 years old, is an experienced professional, and plays with a fire and passion that most of the Rockets NEED.

V-Span should be playing a few minutes every night.

Novak, I can understand, but V-Span is a creator, and forces the action and the team DESPERATLY needs that.

I went to the game last night.

Afterwards, we were walking by outside the practice gym and I saw Novak and VSpan playing 1-on-1. Didn't watch for too long but I did see Novak block a 3 pointer from Vspan. Guess they are bonding with something they have in common, never getting any PT.

I wonder if basketball is played with a round ball or a oblong ball? Can someone answer that for me? Otherwise I won't know if JVG is using the right strategy. I don't think Spanoulis can adjust so fast to the oblong ball.

does JVG tell them why they aren't going to get any playing time?

That blank stare - was "I am so happy that my genious coach is sitting my ass on the pine while my team crumbles during a 35-5 run when I could be back in Greece sitting on the beach with any babe I want and playing on a team where they think I am a god."
