To be fair, JVG did not want either of them last year.

And, he cut Hayes......as I recall he wanted a big instead of Luther too.

JVG is wrong a lot, it just takes him longer to figure it out !

I personally think it's overdue that JVG should start playing Vspan and Novak. They were doing pretty well in preseason and they both bring something to the table we need.

I believe having them make a few mistakes early on in the season is going to make them better player at the end where we might go deep in the playoff.

My only hope is that JVG is waiting to play them once we get our team established....and the roles defined.

Also, when we play the weaker teams where their mistakes might not be so costly.

i seriously doubt v span would win against bruce bowen. all bowen would do, is break his ankle just like he did vince carter, ray allen, and most recently, steve francis.

I don't know.... I hope you're right. I just wish JVG would say what he intends to do with the rooks. The total silence is not reassuring.

The 19-year-old Tony Parker came from France and became an instant starter on a really stacked Spurs team (Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Terry Porter, Antonio Daniels, Stephen Jackson). So adjusting to the NBA can be done quickly. The current rules favor VSpan's game too. But we'll never know for sure until VSpan plays for 20-30 games.

the fact is from the only few minutes he did indeed played he quickly put 5 points, a steal and a assist on the board. everybody seems to forget the And 1 he got in those limited minutes.

Do you know this for a fact? I think the fans deserve a weekly update from the Rocket's Management. I say this, because I have also heard that JVG told him to go home & stay there. I am interested in having some official & truthful NEWS on Bonzi.

Quit bashing Alston after every major lost. Come on, can you guys be any more Erratic. If JVG puts Billy in and he commits twice the amount of turnovers as rafer does you guys would be buying him a ticket back to Greece. That collaspe was a team collapse. Tracy, Yao, Luther, and Battier were in the game too. Not mentioning the game isn't gonna hide that fact that what you guys are saying is a direct result of the lost.

Vspan and Novak need to change the names on their backs to Bowen and then they will play.

Do you really believe that Spanoulis is willing to go to NBDL? At least, he is 24, is european champion and world champion silver medallist. You can send a kid to the NBDL who has multimillion-dollar-offers from european teams. I think the best for Billy would be a trade to Toronto.

That is the And 1 nickname for Rafer Alston. So when people refer to Skip to my Lou, they refer to Alston(or the way Alston plays on the street).

    Guys here is a thought

if Vspan consistently showed Rafer up during practice

why wouldnt JVG not put him in??

    same thing goes with Novak

Luther Head's 3% is amazing right now

he is doing what Novak is doing
