If Romeo is assistant HC, then that should free up some duties from O'Brien, allowing him to concentrate on offense and the playcalling more. In a way I like it. We don't need an o-coordinator now since O'Brien can do it.

 

According to O'Brien's press conference, this was actually Rick's decision. He sure knows how to build his defense. Maybe they need an offensive GM position.

Great move; it ingratiates Vrabel to the franchise so if BOB flounders this year, Texans get first shot at Vrabel by giving him the interim gig. Same like RAC when Haley was fired from KC.

 

I have a feeling Vrabel will be Texans next HC
