Very ironic that Palin was trying to play 'gotcha' there at the end.

Well if you are in favor of a blow heart like Biden then I would say that YOU have the problem.

Yokels? wow here's a newsflash....American is a bunch of yokels, good ole' boys, rednecks...pick your favorite stuffed shirt inside the beltway snob riddeled analogy.

I would take the good hearted, authentic yokel every time versus some fake, pompous Obamanoid typical politician.

OK, I propose that the next president spend the first two years travelling from city to town to state, to village, to inner city, to poor, rich and all in between and work with the people of this country to find out what really are the root problems and how a long term solution can come.

Humbly listening, bringing EVERYONE aboard, but honestly holding out the principles that matter most. That president will carry a copy of the US Constitution and will not have any secret service round about.

That president will be protected if at all by their integrity, honesty, and love for the people and the basic principles of America.

Congress can email that President for budgets, signatures etc.

Generals can run their wars. but by in large we need a president that gets away from politics and sends our country into a new direction based upon ideas that are founded in honesty, industry, compassion, responsibility, opportunity, resourcefulness, thrift, kindness, respect, decency, morality, diligence, productivity, sharing, caring and giving.

I would vote someone I knew would lay down his life for his neighbor.
Regardless of color, politcs or anything else.

Thats why no one listens to me. :)

Gee golly gosh darn it. Even though she isn't as strong on diplomacy. I am sure she can bring about some peace by hugging some Pakistan leaders and muslim terrorists.

Boy, did she look hot when they showed her from the back. Did anybody else notice the great curve in that black skirt? Look how far it came out.

I am talking about FoxNews TV that has over 1 million votes, the website has only 70,000 votes..............but really the bottom line, these polls are useless.......

I kind of like it, it's amusing - but the reasons why it's funny are the reasons why she shouldn't be allowed near the white house even to take the visitors tour.

Apparently, they said something about their audience having trouble with the volume on their TVs. I mean, she did look pretty good. I liked her shoes.

Yes most of your typical Washington politicians are phony. That is why when someone like Palin comes along and you hear wholesome authentic cadence it is so refreshing to the average joe.

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/L0Zlpaj_Qbk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/L0Zlpaj_Qbk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

It's a text vote. How "American Idol". Polls that are based on viewership or website visits should obviously be discounted. I believe the CBS poll is a legitimate scientific poll. I'm not sure about CNN but I don't think they claim it's scientific.

I just dont understand the ideology of sending someone to Washington who has zero experience at a time in this country's history when it needs people as experienced as possible...it really just doesn't make sense.

I can understand the "breath of fresh air" argument, and how Biden looked incredibly political up there (akin to a typical politican that Joe Everyman can't relate to), but from a debate standpoint, this was no contest. The only reason people vote Palin is because they lean heavy to the right, or they disliked Biden. But anyone who thinks he lost this debate is fooling themselves.

Palin dodged every question she could, she didn't give any facts about her policies. Her response to every question was about as generic and empty as they could be. What's sad about all of this is that the only thing people expected out of her was to just bring something "acceptable" to the table...how the hell did the standard for a Vice Presidential candidate get so low?

What we saw up there tonight from the Republicans was George W. Bush with lipstick and glasses.

A grossly incompetent "outsider" who promises to be a uniter, not a divider... etc etc.. more and more lies.. more and more one-liners.... another twinkling puppet with a party hand shoved so far up its keister it can't even breathe without asking.

We're trading a "Texas Nascar dad" for an "Alaskan hockey mom"... THANKS BUT NO THANKS.
