    CNN has it:

    Biden 51% as the winner
    Palin 36% as the winner...

But 84% think Palin did better than expected.

Is Palin qualified to be President? 46% said yes....53% no.

    I will say this

    partisanship is so divisive

I guarantee you all that a house divided cannot stand

Palin in a vacuum and Obama in a vacuum would make a great administration

I don't know why I feel that way.

But under the current system neither will be able to do the good you think.

    Our country is in danger.

We the people need to do what is right because I don't think we can depend on politics as much as we trust politics.

Those who are dissing Palin are missing something I see in her

And those who are dissing Obama are missing something in him.

The problem is the power that rules in Washington is so deceptive.

When did we have a president who was honest, moral, humble, faithful, resolute, a servant, slow to speak and quick to listen, uncorruptable????

It's been a long time folks.

By those numbers, this should help McCain more than Obama.

Why do republicans always have to pick one stupid person for their ticket?? Is it some kind of silent rule? (Quayle, W, and now Palin) If this pattern continues, the next presidential nominee from the GOP will make W. seem like a genius.

Is it because they want some sort of anti-elitist appeal?

I read a great article last week which this excellent quote -- "Ask yourself: how has "elitism" become a bad word in American politics? There is simply no other walk of life in which extraordinary talent and rigorous training are denigrated. We want elite pilots to fly our planes, elite troops to undertake our most critical missions, elite athletes to represent us in competition and elite scientists to devote the most productive years of their lives to curing our diseases. And yet, when it comes time to vest people with even greater responsibilities, we consider it a virtue to shun any and all standards of excellence."

Whoa, we got whole lot of DEMs giggling like little girls over a VP debate?

This won't matter a thing on who wins, if the economy bad news continues this month, McCain has no chance.

It has been an awfully long time. Yet, what would you propose? There's no easy solution to cleanup our current political system, which is a load of crap for what it's worth.

It leaves one feeling pretty hopeless sometimes, yet, corruptible has almost always been the way it's been. No president for however long you want to go back has been without influence (good and bad) since a very long time. Hell, the lobbyists and every other corporate fat cat have the federal government in their pockets anyway these days.

Palin admitting that Bush's administration was a train wreck and claiming that it "didn't matter" what happened in the past was an amazingly bad mistake.

    So, so, so bad.

But I suspect that number was higher before the debate, so it should be a net win for him.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty bad too, lol. Kinda seeing as how you're all part of the same party. Even if you think that, you gotta keep that to yourself I'd say.

This is all you need to know in my opinion......

Palin did a great job contrary to the mighty editorial opinion of CNN.

She came across as confident, sincere, wholesome, refreshing, authentic and the kind of person I think most Americans would like to see head to Washington to replace the pompous, arrogant stuffed shirts like Biden who have been there for way to long.
