Most people are saying that Palin did well for the first half of the interview but then poorly in the last half.
LMAO did anyone hear the NBC analysis? -Palin got the number of troops in Iraq wrong -she didn't know the name of the commander in afghanstan -she referred to a civil-war general as a current guy in Iraq
Biden won, and was very restrained. But..Palin did ok.......not bad, not good....just ok..... Not a game changer. DD
ONce again, can we stopping looking backward? Let's talk about what Palin will do in her next debate instead.
Palin didn't explode, and she exceeded the low expectations. It wasn't really informative or exciting until near the end when Biden almost teared up talking about being a single parent and not knowing if his son was going to survive. That was a winning moment. His answer after that and his entire speech about how Dick Cheney was a dangerous VP. It was shocking to hear her say that she agreed that the VP wasn't exclusively an executive branch. Biden shamed her on that one.
William Tecumseh Sherman will marched through Georgia and beat the Russians. (I missed that bit, which general?)
I also thought that it was strange that she said she wasn't going to answer the questions early on in the debate. She was true to her word and didn't answer many of the questions put to her, but is that really what debating is? It was more like she said she was going to give a speech, and proceeded to do so regardless of the agreed upon structure of the debate.
That was poignant moment. He looked to almost choke up when he spoke of dealing with the death of his wife and daughter.
