Well, Biden was born in Scranton and moved to Delaware at age 10. So he at least has a reason to bring it up.
I have an honest question here. When Palin speaks improper English, or "white" slang (ie. gosh darn it, gollee gee, etc.) it is completely acceptable. If Obama, or any other black politician for that matter, were to speak at formal event using "black" slang (ie. my peeps, homies, etc.), he'd get flamed... Why is that?
I think I am going to look at the debate at a different perspective. One of Palin's selling point is her executive experience as a governor. Palin clearly has been the one taking charge tonight. She has been the one deciding what to talk about in the debate, and Biden has more or less following whatever topics she has chosen to talk about.
Answer the question, Palin. Is the VP under the exec branch or not? Biden OWNAGE. This might be the most important question of the debate.
Because Sarah Palin is a hick from a small town, while Barack Obama is a Harvard Law educated Senator.
Oh she does, watch some of the news channel, but more importantly those that do satires like SNL and others............she gets it.
Those are completely different. I'm not saying it's OK to treat them differently but the "white slang" you speak of is expressing something that would normally be expressed through a curse word with something a little less vulgar. It's not really slang at all.
I guess that's one way to look at it. Let's expand a little and think about why she's not answering the questions asked.
