I voted yesterday around 1pm, and it took about 8 min from the moment I parked my truck. Fort Bend County on 59 near 99.
My co-worker and I tried to vote yesterday. Apparently there is some stupid, archaic law prohibiting people from voting if they are wearing costumes and/or face paint. We nearly came to blows with the 70 year old poll worker.
I'm voting on election day. I guess I'm a traditionalist but I like going to the polls that day more than early voting.
Any reason why? Vote counts the same and you usually don't have to wait in as long of a line during early voting.
7:55 in the AM, at the Burnet County Courthouse Annex. 20 people, they gave us coffee, donuts and kolaches while we waited.
