the irony in this is that the American TOFs love to blame Yao or discredit Yao to prop up their hero. But the Chinese Tracy fans are probably more educated about the NBA and wouldn't post Orlando Magic highlights in the GARM.
Chinese TOF: We love Tmac cause he plays for the Rockets with Yao American TOF: Tmac is better than Kobe but has been unlucky with crappy teammates like Yao
i don't know if you were on this board in the early yao/tmac era. but the YOFs would blame Tmac and vice versa. Nowadays you hear more of the TOFs because the YOFs are on vacation since Yao is out. But before that, it was war.
i was posting part-time like from 5 to 9, the threads all stace mcgrady......i posted several times that i didn't like her kind, cuz she was a bit too leisurely......seems that i was busy postin somethin close to nothin, but different than the day before.....that's when i farted, ooooooh i farted.....in tribute to that $23M ho...it was a flatulence aroma'd bouquet.....the kind u shower on a lazy ass scrub....flatulence aroma'd parfait....n with just one snort her left eye wouldnt be closed no more
you have to cut the Yao fans some slack cause they love him for national pride, but they came here thinking that it was a favor to the Rockets that he came here. Now, after some education of the great history of the Houston Rockets, they seem to understand us more, the rivalries, the heroes, the city etc. Some of the tracy fans are in full denial mode. Alot of us here love Steve Francis, but we saw that he wasn't the best player in the league and unfortunately not going to take us to another championship. but the outrageous statements and excuses by the tracy fans based of jealousy of other players success is making Rocket fans look like r****ds. the constant referencing to the Orlando days for whom none of us care about, the injuries excuse etc. Any Rocket fan will tell you Kobe > Tmac, but that doesn't make us root for the Lakers. I mean it's not even close, it's like saying Tim Duncan is better than Chuck Hayes. If someone says that, we won't disagree. But if you say Tmac, then the excuse wagon comes riding in.
tmac should start ...in the allstar game. why? so that he can showcase if he still has it. and if it does it should boost up his trade value. i think it would be wise of mac to make this choice since he hasn't display any of his playing time this season. vote tmac in. k thanks.
I would agree with you if he hadn't already said he wasn't going to and it wasn't an extreme affront to any sense of justice or sportsmanship.
how exactly is it good for the organization? The fact that Tmac has been in the lead this far just helps bolster the argument about the Chinese voters and hurts Yao's legitimacy as the starter in future All-Star games?
i was referring to the trade value, and future pickups that we might have. but i do agree with you on the chinese fan voting base.
I wonder if the real all stars would even pass him the ball. He would probably go to the huddle and say, "Look, let me play the way I want or trade me!"
Who in Gods name takes the All Star game seriously..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp8bV1lRZmk&feature=related I'd pay to see him try that again.
Can he make it more miserable? He doesn't deserve to be in the all-star game. You know it, I know it, everyone else know it, and hell.... TMac himself even know it. It will be a complete embarrassment to all NBA organizations and players. There are more deserving players than him.
