Alright I did a side-by-side comparision of the T-Mac ingame picture and the silhouette on the website. Edited it in Photoshop real quick and what I found is a bit surprising. The real-life pic doesn't match up perfectly with the silhouette. However, as can be seen in NBA Live 06, the cover picture of Wade was not an in-game shot but actually done at a photo shoot. So, there is still a good chance it can be McGrady, because of the striking similarity between the in-game pic and the silhouette. The hand position is virtually the same and the stance is slightly off. Click to View Analysis Screenshot That being said, lets hope T-Mac gets it!

I wonder who's going to be on the cover of NBA 2k7... It would be awesome if it was Kobe, if T-Mac is on Live 07.
Its actually give and take now b/w the 2 series. Up until 2005, 2K had the edge. But Live 2005 completely dominated. Live 2006 went back to its old ways.
Have you played 2k? NBA Live has been slacking since 96. Unless you dont care about your game being a realistic sim. Which is understandable.
anyone who says nba live is better than the 2k series needs to actually buy the 2k series and play it more than once. ever since the 2k series came out way back in the dreamcast NBA 2k days, it's squashed the live series. EA makes mediocre games and live is a prime example. wow. it has a dunk contest... Gameplay, presentation, graphics, ect are all below that of the 2K series. You call those graphics on live 07 next gen? EA suckers in people with the billions they throw at marketing...
Live improved a lot in '05...I think they caught up, or came close. I stick with the Live series because, at least as of '05 (I think it was), the Dynasty mode was easier to operate and had more options that I like. That's what I play the most, so if it's not easy to use, I'm not happy. But I really do think Live is pretty close to being on par now with 2k...we'll see this year
