I am sorry that I don't know how odd works, but can you tell me how it works? What is 3/2 means?

In the easiest way, you win 3 for every 2 you bet.

If you bet $2, you win $3 (bet $1, win $1.50)

i look at it like they are giving a 2/3 chance that JVG will be the coach and similarly a 1/25 chance that Bill Self will be the coach. Might be incorrect.

    3/2 = 150

meaning your odds are +150. In other words, if you bet 100 you get paid 150.

Gotta go with JVG. I think this team needs the discipline he will bring. He can't make the offense any more one-dimensional and I have confidence he truly recognizes that he needs to bring in assistants who can help there.

I was impressed with Vogel when that Indiana team took Miami to 7 games. Sign of good coaching and adjustments in the playoffs.

Still don't get it. Is 150+ a bad or good thing? What odd supposed to be a good thing and bad thing? What do you mean if you said I bet 100, I paid 150? Do you mean, for example, if I want to bet for $100 and my team wins, who will pay me 150?

Vogel was a pushover in Indiana.

This worries me...but Vogel with Hollins, Kenny Smith & Chris Finch (I don't think Morey will let him go after all this time) on the sideline will do

Because a guy who consistently had Indiana in the top defenses in the league needs another big name to help him hold down the defense?

Vogel will let Harden do whatever he wants. That's really bad for Harden improvement.

Considering Harden's character weakness, you seriously need a tough coach like JVG.

Vogel is also awful on offense. He was fired for that this season.

Odds in simple terms - 3/2 means if you run this race 3 times, this horse will win twice.

Las Vegas Odds - These are the odds the Vegas casinos are giving for a certain entity to win a certain event. As BRR said, 3/2 means if you bet $2 & your entity wins that event, you get $3 back. Now for the casinos to make money, they have to have money placed on all entities. If entity "A" is getting more money placed on it, they'll raise the odds on entity "B" to get the public to bet on B, not A.

So Vegas Odds are what Vegas thinks will bring in the most evenly placed money on an event.

    Clear as mud?!?
