What's the latest on his situation? Didn't the Mavs cut him after his 10 day contract expired? With the latest injuries to our roster, can we offer him a 10 day contract?
If he's healthy and willing the play the same role as last season for the amount Morey offered, I'd take him back. No point in signing him this season though......its about done. Oh......and wrong forum
The season ends in like 10 days so why not? Its not like its gonna put us over the luxury tax or anything. Plus, he can give us that added firepower off the bench.
It's not really even worth the small amount of cash when the season's over either way. Better to let the guys who will be here next year have the playing time. It doesn't matter if we win or lose anymore, so what's the use in added firepower?
On his twitter, someone asked him where he was gonna be this summer and he said Houston. So maybe he is hinting at something we don't know about.
Rashard Lewis will be here in Houston too...maybe he knows he is about to be traded for! Marcus Camby will be here too! Maybe he knows we are going to sign him. Rumor has it that Mike James also may be here in Houston over the summer, and my eye in the sky said they saw Kelvin Cato lumbering around downtown smashing buildings and eating babies...I think he is also going to sign with us. LOTS of players live here in the off season, nothin to read in to man.
the Mavs signed him, he did not get even ONE minute of playing time. Im gonna guess his injury issues are still an issue. Now, since he is NOT a member of the Houston Rockets, nor any team in the NBA, and we do not need him and will not sign him this year, there is no need for this thread. If there is some word over the summer that is relevant to the Houston Rockets, you can start a thread at that point.
