Teams like Pheonix are going to go after Von this offseason. The guy fits the running styled offense as well as any player in the league.

It'll be tough, but hopefully he stays.

To me, he is borderline starter material....it is 50/50 for me as to him or Battier starting.

Von puts so much pressure on the opposing team's defense and it opens the floor for so much more.

I would really like to see a 3 man rotation of Von, Battier and Artest at the SF/SG position...where each player gets a good share of those 96 avaialable minutes.....

When the Suns pick up the option on Nash's contract for next season that'll put them over LT. They're not going after anyone in free agency as they stand.

He is getting better. The Rockets need to re-sign him.

Sadly, I think whether he resigns may have a lot to do with Tmac, if he comes back, or the Rockets don't trade him, Wafer probably leaves.

He wants, and deserves to play more, and if he is behind Tmac, Artest, and Battier, why would he stay?

He has proven to be a 10ppg player, and pretty danged efficient....teams will be lining up to sign him.....

I hope he stays, but I don't feel strongly that he will.

Your point is a valid one. His efficiency is increasing and there will be other teams looking to sign him as well.

He needs some work on his decision making, but thats one of those things that only gets better with playing time. He definetly deserves more playing time.

You know, I have seen major improvement in that these last few weeks, whereas he used to wrecklessly attack the basket, now he is looking to pass the ball off as well as score.

    Huge improvement.

I've seen it too. He is developing rapidly. His drives to the basket are controlled and he is now making the right pass when he is cut off at the rim. When his jumper isn't falling he takes the ball straight to the rim instead of continuing to hoist more jumpers. Bottom line is that he seems to learn from his mistakes as well as adjust on the fly when something isn't working. I have no clue why he does not get Barry's minutes.

I wanted to add that although defense is not his strong suit,he is no longer a sieve either.

Excellent point, he has showed marked improvement on D....

I think he will improve even more with playing time.....truthfully I would like to see him getting more and Artest and Battier a bit less.
