yeah, but do you want him playing like that? Even with a shot he may still not feel comfortable enough to do what he usually does.

This might be a good thing. Hopefully, Barry's championship experience can help the rockets win this game!

Really sucks considering how close all the games, sans game 1, have been. Hopefully someone on the bench can step up.

Why do guys think our defense will drop off? I can understand that Barry can't attack the rack like Wafer can, but Wafer was clearly not a good defender and he makes silly rookie mistakes on that end of the floor (both ends really). Barry isn't a good defender either but I rarely see him make silly mistakes. Granted, I still see him get beat but he doesn't make many silly mistakes on either side of the ball. I would rather have Wafer playing because he can create his own shot, but I think thats the only downgrade.

Lol Barry. He cant play defense, he cant shoot anymore, he's bound to turn it over.

But at least he's got experience!!!

it may be a blessing in disguise for us...barry will not hesitate to shoot, and he's a vet, knowing the importance of this game i see him being ready and focused on his 3s, portland cant leave him and if they do i expect Barry wont hesitate to make them pay.

He's obviously not as big of a threat slashing inside like von, but 3 pts is better than 2 and those 3s are like layups to Barry sometimes..

the bench won't score a lick 2nite, they should have the Flight in there instead of Old school Barry. I rather avoid having both play but if they have to , go with Flight. People not to stop saying Barry is like a great creator and passer , he is not CP3.

Just great !! This is why they say you should close out teams as soon as you can, stuff like this will happen !

A slipped disc? Maybe re-signing Wafer isn't such a good idea unless it's for the minimum.

I think we are going to see more ball movement without Von ... when Von is on the floor, he wants to take it to the basket or shoots it most of the time. I think Barry will bring more patience in order to find the best shotselection.

    Gooo Rockets!

    this isn't a good thing....

but barry is a reliable back-up and is at least an upgraded passer over von. it's not the end of the world, we should still win at home.
