It's weird because sometimes he is extremely intense, tying up loose balls or tearing down rebounds from the sky... but then he disappears for stretches. Perplexing.

The official word straight from the organization is he's out and listed as day to day.

MAN OUR OFFENSE WILL BE ULTRA SLOOOOOW MOTION AND ULTRA STAGGGGGNANT TODAY INSTEAD OF JUST NORMAL SLOW MOTION AND STAGGNANT.

now our most athletic player is aaron brooks......aaron "rafer v2.0 with no d" brooks

Uh, yeah. But, still - this team better be relying on Yao and Scola. Ron - Ron and Browery. How many minutes are being filled by Barry here?

I'll miss VW. I expect the Rox to seal the deal tonite. With or without our 'hawkMan!

    HA HA.

    This is great news.

Now it's time for Barry to prove me right.

The real question is this; Will Yao go into his shell in game 6 for Wafer like he did in game 2 for uncle Mutumbo?

Absolutely. I hate Wafers game. This means the player who will be better for us in the playoffs, Brent Barry, gets off the pine.

I love all Rocket fans, even the mentally challenged.

Sucks that Von is out, he brings electricity to the court. Hopefully Bones Barry can find his shot tonight and not turn the ball over too much. Get Yao the Ball!

    GO Rockets

Such bad news, I would let Lowry and Brooks play together for certain time. Lowry can guard SF, and run plays, let Brooks shoot the ball straightly, rather than dribble, dribble, and dribble, and get the blocks.

Brent will play, he better make every 3 he takes, get the ball into Yao and not make any hot dog passes. Damn having Wafer out is huge.

Man that sucks for Von has been pretty good off the bench in the home games. His attacking the basket will be sorely missed.

I guess giving Barry a chance will help some of the ball movement and turnovers should drop a bit. the defense will drop though of course, hopefully barry can help space the floor a bit better though.

it will be interesting to see

while its not a good thing that Wafer is out I am slightly curious to see how Barry will step up to play in this critical game
