It was one game, get over it. It wasn't like he got in trouble with the law or something, he just wanted playing time. If he was on the Rockets, he would be the third best offensive player to AB and Martin.

Yep, but he is healthy now apparently so i don't see why Morey didn't give him another call. I thought Daryl said that once he was healthy he would call Von back.
What is surprising is that, even with a sore back, Von Wafer beat out Rashad McCants. McCants must really have let himself go since falling out of the NBA. Sad. I thought McCants might have learned something rather than wasting his natural ability to play basketball. I guess that's why the Rockets didn't sign him earlier in the season.
Good for him, after we got Martin we didn't need him any more. I hope he does ok, though not when they play us... DD
Von will need to learn how to be calmer up there. As for the freaking Mavs, I hope they get another first round, Golden State-style clowning come playoffs time.
So far Von had me more excited than getting Martin. It's only 2 games but the "Now Generation" wants it now, game changer that has the ability to take a team to the next level and not a role player like he's been.

Why would Morey cut a tall payer making $2.5 mil? We filled the position already. No need to spend more money and mess up the chemistry with another new player.
