The articles of the confrontation must be missing something then because from what how the incident was described I don't see how Wafer can get any blame.

Who's to blame doesn't really matter. What will matter is who will assist Boston in getting another Championship. That person will stay.

Hint: The answer is not Von Wafer.

Having Delonte West on your team must be a psychological tactic against the Heat. Morey should have calculated this intangible in the offseason.

You guys got it wrong d west is the crazy dude here..you have to throw in the fact that he is bipolar as well and if you guys see the video of their practice which I think was posted on here last wk maybe you can clearly see delonte trying to stir up something

    UPDATE:

From the Boston Globe, Danny Ainge goes on record to say that the team is "moving forward" without any roster changes, and then proceeds to slap the heck out of Adam Kennedy's story:
"I did read that story and there was a lot of lies in that story," Ainge said. "Things were twisted. It’s not true. We’re not releasing Delonte. There have not been any other of these altercations that have happened this year.
"Guys trash talk and that kind of stuff by I’m not aware of any other altercation among any players at all during the course of the year. These things happen. It’s not acceptable behavior. We’ll just handle it internally and that’s it.
"Whoever wrote the story had something to get Delonte. That’s for sure. There’s some untruths in that story."

Von learned to not act like a fool after his incident here. Good move to walk away and a b**** move by West for sucker punching him. Though Von connected 2 punches on West

I don't know why everyone thinks Delonte will be that guy.

Clearly he's not all there mentally.

Nice job Wafer. He'll be known as the player who punched Lebron's step father.

Not to mention he's not even a good basketball player. If he is so essential to a championship, why is he on a non-guaranteed contract?

    Why can't it be Von?

He brings scoring off the bench which is what the Celtics need at the 2 spot.

West is an idiot! I'm glad the Celtics are getting rid of him and not Von because clearly he is starting it.

How can somebody be so stupid? He is a talented player that will probably have minutes over Von Wafer, why target him like this?

Von Wafer has had locker room issues at multiple stops. There was talk about him being unpopular in the Rockets locker room too.

Maybe he was acting like a jerk towards West, regarding his troubles.
