Really good fit. I love what the Olympiakos are doing.

He fits that European system because he does not play D.

Too bad it's not Panathinaikos. Someone's head would have exploded with that thought.

Good deal, and imagine a scenario where in 2 years:
    -he's proven himself in Euro
    -economy/cap has picked back up
    -still only 26/27

Optimistic of course but he's still not a lost hope on being a future impact player should he want to return to the league. Good luck Von

If it is true, good for him.

He would not get that money in today's NBA.

    Please stop the ignorance.

All it means is that he got the most $$$$ from a European club, Morey already said he would like him back but they had a price set, and Morey also said that Von kind of got screwed by the Rockets salary cap situation etc.

I am sure he would have signed in the NBA, but not for nearly this money, if the link is true....

The ignorance is in that you think the Rockets or the NBA not signing him means he would not have gotten an offer.

Do you think Josh Childress would get an offer?

Look, the Euroleague is a viable option for players at Von's level, guys who are up and comming but are not polished as players yet.

He will make more $$$ over there, but Morey even said they would like Von back but at the right price.

The Rockets don't NEED anyone, they can always go to the next guy in line, that doesn't mean the team is better, it just means they are constrained by finances and the Lux tax.

They are not the New York Yankees.
