    TL;DL summary: "It's all everybody else's fault"

I remember "Microwave" Von Wafer. Scorer with tunnel vision, pretty selfish player.

Too emotionally unstable. Taking a shower and leaving mid-game is disrespectful.

Well, depends, if he met Kobe under the shower, he would have stayed.

Somehow that describes most of our wings during that era.

Throw in a random overpaid white pg from time to time.

"Disco-bobulated" is my favorite new word.

I just liked his athleticism even Morey said he was an ELITE level athlete, just not all that bright, but he was Gerald Green before GG...

It sounded like on two occasions he said “discraught” instead of distraught.

Playing Brent Barry over him was BS. I don’t blame him

Brent Barry was a much less one-dimensional player than Von Wafer.

He was like 40 years old at the time. Wafer cleared him.

I remember Wafer was averaging like 20 ppg as a starter that year and all of the sudden Adelman decided to play Barry over him during the playoffs. I like Adelman but he was sometimes stubborn.

Von was a bucket but you wasn't going to get coddled by Adelman.
