wow do you know who Granger is?? You know that guy who was an all-star last season and the Pacers first franchise player in a loong time, they love him their..and Murphy isn't half bad either. That would be an awful, awful trade for the Pacers. T-Mac isn't an all star anymore.
Budinger's size places him more in lines of a SF. Although truthfully, don't care if Wafer comes back or not. As good as he was for us at times last year, I actually think unless we are desperate, we won't try to get him. The fact is, all the dangers people see with bringing McGrady into the line up exist pretty heavily in Wafer. I'd rather stick with the current line up and see if this current slump is something we can work our way out of.
I'm pretty sure dm said earlier that von still isnt healthy but that the rockets will continue to continue evaluating his progress.. besides, he said he was on his way to see a specialist today. sound like he failed again and is taking the next step to get himself healthy.
Forgot to add he has the lowest BB IQ in the world and he was sent to the locker room during a PLAYOFF game. I like Von's ability to attack and finish, but he comes with serious baggage. This team needs a playmaker and a true shotblocker in the worst way, Von is neither.
Aww....hope he gets there. Would be a nice if for no other reason than to light a fire under Trevor Ariza's hind quarters. I still remember that play against Portland where they were fronting Yao(surprise surprise) and he blew by them for a nice reverse dunk.
Trevor Ariza is giving him a run for his money in the BBIQ department. And Wafer IS a playmaker. Actually he is a play finisher, which this team needs just as much as it does a playmaker.
Check his turnovers. Maybe his BB IQ isn't great but he's smart enough to only do what he is good at and not try to do what he can't. Can you say the same thing for Ariza? You're arguments are sad and tired. Come up with something new.
I don't think anybody can give Wafer a run in the BBIQ department, he takes the cake. Your right he's a play finisher, but once given the ball he aint giving it up.
Yeah, who needs finishers, when we can have 1st and 3rd quarters with point totals like: 13 13 17 13 I mean those are NBA teams, not Hoosiers..... DD
I've seen the lowest BBIQ in the world and Von is not close. That distinction belonged to the Steve Francis.
Ok, ok - so what is the big deal about adding Von Wafer? Does he get Bud's minutes? More? Challenge Landry for 6th Man'o the Year? Or does it free up a trade possibility for Bud (packaged with McGone; a real possibility IMHO BTW)? What exactly is the fascination for the #10 - #15 guy on the roster?
