He was exiled twice for that matter. He only came to the Rockets since he failed his physical in Memphis, otherwise he would've been a Grizzlies instead.

He failed his physical in Mem. for his back problem. Mem said no.

He came to Hou. to see if he could pass the physical here but failed.

Love the VonHawk on our team he fits the firery character of the team perfectly and yes would be the only true SG on the roster. He should take some pressure off of Brooks who really is the only shooter in our starting 5.

Minutes I agree could be an issue can't wait to see Hitler complaining about Von and his cameo role.

Does anyone else think it's funny that Streetball got kicked-off a Greek team, but he's going to come back to the NBA and save the Rockets?

He's a proven commodity here. Nothing funny about welcoming back an efficient scoring SG who can handle the ball and who loves to slash to the rim (and can finish). It's exactly what this team is lacking.

    Who cares?

Every team has a different situation and this one could use Von's strengths, which are attacking the rim and scoring the ball.

I think the greek team expected him to change his game. I don't think he can "save" the Rockets because the key to saving the team is AB. If AB sucks this team sucks.

Von is a good ball player but when he focuses on it he has great moments.

As long as he isn't suffering from TMac's (Lack of) Heart Disease, he should pass the physical.

Anyone have Von's numbers after Yao went down? I imagine a lot of his opportunities came by playing off of Yao.

At least there's an NBA player that will be almost as happy as some on this board to see Streetball back - Udoka. A few games again Streetball and maybe he can make a late All-Star push.

But didn't Morey shoot down the notion that he will pass the physical on the 610 interview

Dont care much for Wafer.I dont think morey wants him either. He was only gonna be picked up because of injuries.

GOOD NEWS.Houston has pontential talent coming. The Pacers and Rockets are in trade talks. We send them Mcgrady and Cook, and future pick. For Granger,Dunleavy, and Murphy.Indiana is hurtin for ticket sales and the only option now is to bring in an All star(Mcgrady)to try to fill seats.

This isn't a potential trade. The so called trade you mentioned below was a post on bleache report which has about as much credibility as hoopsworld.
