DD why would it be smart of Morey to lock him up. It's not like people were knocking down his door trying to sign him this offseason. In fact, I don't believe anyone did. Sign him for the remainder of the year and see if he can behave himself. If he can, resign him for next year for cheap, not the MLE.
because in dd's mind, von is already an all-star. of course, dd is no gm and would seem to be willing to piss away money instead of signing him to a 10-day and seeing if he still has the same impact as last year.

But it might be fake, and honestly, I want him on the Rockets.....but his tweets are ...uh...interesting. Daryl Morey just said on 610 that Von Wafer is a ways away from being healthy that they keep tabs on him - not having a physical currently. Right now it does not look as though he will back soon, but they will continue to watch his progress.

I agree with you, he would be a huge benefit for this team with his shooting, speed and attacking the basket..............so my guess is as soon as he is healthy enough, he will be on the team. A line-up of Brooks, Lowry, Wafer, Landry, Scola looks good......

Ariza has a bad attitude and sucks. Wafer has a bad attitude and can put the biscuit in the basket. At this point, I'll take Wafer. Maybe his exile will have taught him something.
