Oh yeah... P.S. Not only was this guy our best bench player, but he was our best driver also and we have desperately missed that kind of driving ability form our wing positions.
Wafer will be back... Adelman put him in his place once. Von had played himself into a multi-year, multi-million dollare deal but blew it. He learned a lesson. He knows he is valuable, the Rox know he is valuable. If he is smart, which is unknow , He will be a model citizen and play his heart out. I like bringing him back, so long as he does not disrupt things and become a black hole, meaning when the ball goes to him, it never leaves him.
The best part is with this tempo and especially Lowry pushing the ball, Von is going to be even more effective. There won't be a quicker guard trio than Lowry/Brooks/Wafer in the entire league. Put two out of three of those guys with Landry and this team will be in warp drive.
Hell no! Ariza needs to be benched immediately, but I'm just afraid that Adelman is going to keep sending him out no matter how bad it gets.
We have not had a true quality SG since Walt Williams and Cuttino Mobley. We have not had a true quality starting SG since Drexler. Note: I have always believed that T-mac has always been a SF rather than a SG since he got to the Rockets.
My only complaint about Rick Adelman is his inexpicable mancrush on Ariza. However, without him, we would probably be 16-20 rather than 20-16, so...I really wonder.
I'd love to see how Wafer fits into the second unit. We'd have a full legitimate team coming off the bench. Lowry Wafer Budinger Landry Andersen Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.
I wonder the same thing. It seems Adelman is pretty fair about giving PT to those who deserve it EXCEPT when it comes to Ariza. It makes no sense.
