IQ Tests are not required to be good at basketball, witness Moses Malone....etc... Plenty of good NBA players are not all that smart.... DD
10ppg on 44% shooting and 39% from three in 20 minutes per game and people still want to complain because they think the guy isn't smart. There should be an IQ test to join this BBS.
you mean you now think JT has a chance then, according to your 30sec evaluation of his IQ back from the June post-draft interview?
Of course he has a chance, I said he was not NBA ready then, and is still not NBA ready. And I do think he is not all that sharp.......but again, it is not about sharpness, it is about being a quick thinker and able to react to what you see happening on the floor and being able to take advantage, I have not seen ANYTHING like that out of JT. The problem with JT is that he is not good off the ball...which is what we need. DD
don't get me wrong, DD is a good poster who deserves his props and respect here.....but for some of us who have been here a decade already, all this celebrity and hoopla surrounding him and his posts is a real chuckle...i mean, i knew the boy back when he was still a nobody like the rest of us - why the hell would i need stalk him  and btw, yeah i do have a high IQ
Honestly pippendagimp, I don't get it either. I mean I get called out in tons of threads that I am not even in or talking about....it is bizzare.....it is like the BBS papparazzi follow me around picking nits....I call them the DDingleberries. Just want to talk Rockets ball.......I can't help it I guess. DD
the team has already spent millions to acquire him and signed him to a minimum of 2 years on the contract, and you keep advocating to send him down to the D-league. ....where he will be The Man and learn absolutely nothing about playing off the ball.... so i just don't think it makes more sense to play the kid a bit from game to game depending on matchups and game score so he can develop. regarding the quick thinking, i saw him make 3-4 very good passes and a few cuts in the summer league games that do indicate he has the ability. but he hasn't played enough to show anything either way in the regular season games yet. in any case, wafer gives you instant offense off the bench but absolutely nothing else. the defensive mistakes and outburst with adelman were enough for me to say adios. add in the back condition he has plus the fact that we are already financially committed to JT and it just makes no sense for us to add him this season. what we need to compete when yao gets back is a starting-caliber 2-guard and von will never be that anyways.
Well if you do one, at least touch on the trade scenerios or target players (minus Coery Maggette), maybe a dd top 5, and what each one will give us (+ and -).
yeah wasn't trying to come at you or anything, just interpreted the post wrong. And hey DD's posts are legendary so I wouldn't blame anyone.
No, but a lack of IQ combined with a lack of desire to follow instructions is pretty deadly. And DD, during your next video, I challenge you not to mention Wafer or Budinger more than a dozen times each.

how the heck is ariza nba ready? jt is inexperience but ariza is nothing. was nothing in orlando, was nothing in NY,and he lucked out being with kobe. so keep going on and on about jt not being ready, this season is the season to get jt and cbud playing time, not let ariza jack up shots and waste time. ariza already has been given alot of minutes and he has shown nothing, give someone else a chance, IM on the JT bandwagon. If he doesnt get his shot with rockets he will somewhere else jt will be a bigger star in nba than ariza in 3 years.thats if ariza is even in the nba in 3 years.i think the rockets should just do a buy out of ariza. he is useless out there. dnp-cd for the next 4 years or buyout take your choice ariza..i play hardball unlike morey.
