God, can someone just put this thread to bed? If Wafer actually does something Rockets related, I'm sure DaDakota will have us up to date in a millisecond. I just don't get the need for this crapfest.

COULD VON HAVE BEEN THE NEXT BREAKOUT STAR? I'm not sure but it sure seemed like last year if Von (hawk) Wafer had not have gone all t-mac on Adelman he might of gotten a bigger oppurtunity to showcase a bigger roll this season, waht do you think?

I’m all for signing Wafer but trading Budinger for him is ludicrous… there is no evidence to support that sort of a theory at this point. In fact, there is no solid evidence to say we’re even still after Wafer.
All I'm saying is maybe there is a possibility that the reason we were trying to sign Wafer was because then we would feel a lot safer about trading Budinger in a package with T-Mac. I'm not saying we should trad C-Bud, because we shouldn't, but I'm just guessing that maybe this was the reason why we were trying to sign Von.
So people want a weed smoking, self centered, egotistical, loud mouth with a serious attitude problem and no team chemistry for the sake of the occasional drive to the basket...if that was the case why didn't we just sign Iverson? And people are wishing him well? WTF? didn't we already go down this road with Griffin??? TMAC??? Pippen??? Yeah, we aren't DESPERATE at all... The Rockets don't need Ariza or Wafer on the team...neither make the team better.
