Absolutely. Similar to Landry. It would be awesome if we could get him for cheap. Maybe DM can convince him to take less in order to win.
Ironically, us playing the Lakers in that series ended up dropping the price of both. It might work out well for us in the long run. Or maybe the Lakers series was a harbinger of how teams are going to start playing Von (making him have to handle the ball far from the paint) and expose a fatal flaw in his game. And maybe Ron Artest really is done driving to the paint and will become T-Mac #2 in terms of bad idea jump shots.
Why does this have to be one or the other. Each plays two different roles on the team, plus Von will not command near the money the Ron will.
