Agreed. For all the warranted and unwarranted flak T-Mac's been getting, if they're going to move people, it has to start with Rafer. TMac, Artest, and Battier have been playing bad and their excuses can only satisfy so far, but they, and everything else, are being exposed more than they should be because of the inadequacy at the point.

ive been trying to say that moving artest isnt going to solve anything. there are 4 others I would trade before him and 3 of them are starters starting with rafer then battier then errhmm :)

I agree with everyone on the list except for AB.

He has just been on a shooting slump maybe even a sophomore wall.

I really think he justs needs to get consitent minutes like he has been to be most effective. Ya know.

I agree completely that its bad shot selections that are resulting in adverse effects on Rox. Too many 3 pt. shots leading to opponent team's fast breaks and layups making the Rox defense looked very bad.

The team played hustling defense and fluid motion offense in the mini-streak (when TMac and Ron were resting) and won 7 of 8 games (if I remembered correctly). If Rox can continue playing that type of games, their chance of making the playoff and go beyond first round is very high.

    From Daryl Morey:

Where ya at Leeb, and Joesr and all the rest of the defense is the major problem guys?

    WHERE YA AT ??????

    I rest my case.

DD - you nailed it. I can find Rockets players with any of these 2 qualities, but NOT all three.

    Good observation.

Daryl Morey is mistaken. You can be middle of the pack offensively and win a championship, teams have done it, ranking around 8-17 in the league. You just can't be below average. The thing is that we must be dominant at one of them to win a championship.

We need something we can depend on in bad stretches. We won't win much if we're simply good on defense and 'middle of the pack' on offense.

I personally think we need to insert AB into the starting lineup. He was great as a starter, but ever since Rafer came back and AB went back to the bench, he has hit a wall. Trade Rafer for a shooting PG, and start AB. Easier said then done, I know.
