"Look at me, look at me... " Of course, this ignores history, where the incumbent rarely if ever participates in primary debates. Including in 2020 when many trump didn't debate in the primary. Maybe vivek will have a better chance of getting into debates within his own party with the "trump isn't manly enough to debate ME" approach.
This Ramaswamy is hustling. For what it is worth - the speaker in that video was always extreme fringe, but I will admit that some of his writings were interesting and I learned a lot about the more extreme African-centric viewpoints. Dr. Kambon is extremely marginalized, and has largely been discredited by even the most extreme in the Afro-centric movement. Simply, he has no real credibility at all and hasn't since he made those statements close to 20 years ago. These statements were made a long time ago, by a man who is now nearly 80 years ago and has no power or sway. What is the point of Ramaswamy dusting off these statements now, other than to flame outrage? Also when this happened, I don't think "woke" was even a concept.
Ramaswamy is a hindu name, so doubt he comes close to Swarma. It literally translates to "Lord Ram" I wonder if he has converted to Christianity - a requirement to run for major political office in the US, and if he will need to change his name to something less Hindu if he does seriously want to run. Might be too late. But who knows, with enough anti-climate GOP superdonors to act as kingmaker, anything is possible in the age of MAGA
I know it is Hindi - I said it because Buck was coming up with a name Trump would use and I could see Trump saying "Shwarma" or "Swarma"- he already has called DeSantis (who is Italian) "Meatball Ron".
Hell, let's make it so you have to have a college degree also, that way most of the maga nuts wont make it to the polls I jest , I jest
That's rather interesting. He must have had an amazing experience in the US military to want it for all kids.
A starship troopers fan who didn't realize the movie was satire of fascism. Though I'm pretty sure the author of the actual book unironically had fascist elements in his book without the intention of satire.
Heinlein’s a very interesting figure and an argument could be made he had some Fascist sentiments. Verhoeven was very anti fascist and anti corporate. I always find it interesting how many on the Right love Starship Troopers and Robocop when both are mocking American Rightwing views.
Okay I'd rather Jr Smith be president then. There are a lot of physically fit people that are more qualified to have the emotional maturity and empathy to be president. It's in the millions so that's a lame excuse.
