this is a little off topic, but in relations to the age conversation going on. a lot of girls 14-20? like to lie about being virgins and how many partners they had. i guess you could partially blame our society for their behavior. girls don't want guys to think their "dirty" and tell guys they want to wait till their married, yet they'll give it up in a few days or a week. i don't care how many guys a girl has been with. it's socially acceptable for guys to have infinite number of partners, yet a girl is considered a "slut" if they sleep around with more than a few guys. if this is a case, most guys are sluts and their sleeping with girl sluts, basically their same.
21 to my now fiancee...we both lost it at the same time - so it was pretty awesome to have that connection. It definitely went beyond my expectations, which is wild since I waited so long. I didn't want to have sex before marriage - but, it might sound kind of dumb, but we figured it was our way of saying we would get married even though it wouldn't work at the time since she had 2 years of university left and we weren't financially prepared for marriage. For me 19 dorm room with someone I was sort of dating. It was OK. Not bad nor the great and she had no idea she was deflowering me. Frankly I felt a sense of relief about finally doing it and I think watching p*rn had prepared me well with what to do. Haven't talked to her in almost 17 years. Wouldn't mind seeing how she's doing. I didn't realize it later that she was actually trying to be romantic. So I don't regret the time I lost my virginity but I have a lot of regrets about times earlier I should've and about times later when I shouldn't have.

That's a good point and I think in our society there is a lot of pressure for men to lose their virginity. I remember feeling like a loser for awhile when some of my friends had lost theirs at 16 and 17 while I still hadn't. I agree though that people lose it when they lose it and I think getting yourself worked up about not losing your virginity or trying to keep it isn't a good thing. My own view is don't let society pressure you about losing your virginity too soon and conversely about holding onto it for too long. I like sex I think its great but rather than doing or not doing what your family, culture or friends think you should do you should ask yourself when you're ready.
I don't buy the argument that going backdoor or getting fellatio doesn't count as sex, no matter what Bill Clinton said, I would consider the first time someone you um.. spill your seed in someone else no matter what orifice you are no longer a virgin.
I was 20, it was in my now-fiance's apartment in McKinney. It hurt...um, yeah...it hurt. I think we tried to do it once before but it just was too painful. The day after the first "official" time, I bled so much I thought I was dying. I don't regret it at all though, losing it then. We both grew up in households where it was expected of us to wait until marriage. But we knew very early on that we would stay together and eventually get married. So I figured, why not just get the "first time" over with already? It was great, I mean, forging such a strong connection with someone, but the conservative church hypes it up wayyyy too much. It's not earth-shattering or anything.

Yeah, for me I couldn't really enjoy the experience when she looked Like I was stabbing her to death, and she couldn't enjoy it because it felt like I was stabbing her to death. But maybe we could have waited 2 years after dating no problem, but no way it was going to last 4 years. That is too much pressure, and I saw my best friend rush into a marriage basically because he wanted sex and it ended up costing him dearly. There is zero emphasis on it now, we did it and got it over with... I don't have any regrets about not saving it for the wedding night, its a nice thought if you can through with it, but I am too much of a horny b*stard.
