Wants to reunite with Derrick Rose I see.

If I'm the Bulls, I wouldn't touch Coach Cal with a 10 foot pole! I think they will go after Byron Scott or Doug Collins.

That's the thing. I don't "like him so much" per se but I think he will have a difficult time finding another head coaching job and I feel a bit of sympathy for him. I understand the NBA is a business and there's no such thing as sympathy but the guy EARNED and NOT DESERVES.... at least another year.

Any time you take a young team to the playoffs with your superstar player not being fully healthy the majority of the year that's a successful season in my book. Even if you play in the East.

The guy did better than Larry Brown with less for crying out loud and Bobcats are begging LB to stay. Paxson is letting personal issues get in the way of business matter.

With that said, I'm sure the Bulls won't have a hard time replacing Vinny with a good coach. Still not right though.

    I don't like Cal either.

Byron Scott may lead the Bulls past the 1st round at least for a few seasons early on but in the end he will fizzle out like he always does. Doug Collins was/is a mediocre coach and if he gets another gig he'll be highly overrated by the casual fan because of his name.

I understand your point, but it's all about doing what it takes to win a championship. Emotions aside, it's obvious Vinny is not a good coach. Yes, he got the Bulls to the playoffs. Fine and dandy. But if the Bulls want to go to the next level, he clearly isn't the guy. The only choice is to fire him and hire someone better.

NOTE: If the Bulls hire Calipari, the owner should hog-tied, kicked and forced to sell the franchise to a sane person.
