All the Texans had to do was draft him and the world would be right. The Titans are 17-11 with him as the starter, and that is all that matters at the end of the day.

This can be a very interesting discussion about the pressures and responsibilities of a star athlete, or this can be a another pro/anti VY fiasco. Let's decide right now so I don't have to waste my time.

Makes sense. Vince is smarter than I gave him credit for. He realized his first year was a fluke. He'll never see the pro bowl again, his team won some miracle games thanks to the kicker and the defense. Vince made a few plays with his legs. He luckily beat the texans in overtime with his legs. And it has all gone downhill ever since and will continue to go down hilll.

He should have done it - at least he would have went out somewhat on top before NFL defenses exposed what a god awful quarterback he really is.

This article is very surprising considering one of the things that his fans and advocates always claimed was a huge strength was his mental toughness and his tendency to come through in the clutch. I always agreed with that sentiment since he did seem to succeed in the face of adversity more often than not...but clearly he wasn't as strong-willed as we thought.

I'm curious to see how he does this season. To me, if you don't see a marked improvement in his passing skills, odds are we've seen just about the best of what he can be in the NFL, which isn't bad as long as his team is dominant in other facets of the game.

Well, if the felon is actually his friend he is entitled to call him whatever he wants. Some people actually have friends that are imprisoned and I don't think that stops them from doing volunteer work, working with big brothers big sisters, and being role models.

Yeah, he hangs out with chicks.

Surprising to hear that he was thinking about retirement though. I know it is a rough transition, but retirement? Usually players have to be kicked out of the league, not think about retiring after one year. If this year is rough as well for him, I wonder if he will think about retirement again. Very revelaing article.

The Titans won last year despite Vince. The Titans defense won the games. Albert Hayneworth had more to do with the Titans making the playoffs than Vince. He is a Trent Dilfer type QB that can run. Not that there is anything wrong with that........
